Alkaline electrolyzers are the most widespread technology due to their maturity, low cost, and large capacity in generating hydrogen. However, compared proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers, they request use of potassium hydroxide (KOH) or sodium (NaOH) since electrolyte relies on a liquid solution. For this reason, performances alkaline governed by concentration operating temperature. Due growing development water electrolysis process based generate green hydrogen from renewable energy sources, main purpose paper is carry out comprehensive survey more specifically about electrical domain specific electrolytic conductivity. Besides, will allow emphasizing remaining key issues modeling point view.
